Vallecito sewer effluent spray field The District received a Construction Grant covering 97.5% of the Vallecito Regional Wastewater System Project. Click here for more information about the Grant. Douglas Flat residents should be aware that this project will take place in their neighborhood and may cause disruptions in the vicinity. The presence of heavy equipment and construction crews may cause traffic delays, noise, construction dust and clutter and occasional impediments in your area. Additionally, it may be necessary for crews and equipment to work in the yards of some residents to access lines. If we find we must operate in your yard, you will be given at least 48 hours’ advance notice to allow preparation and pet removal or restraint. All yards involved in construction will be restored to their original condition after work is completed.
