CALAVERAS COUNTY WATER
DISTRICT (CCWD) requests bids for the
COPPER COVE WASTEWATER TREATMENT
PLANT, PHASE 1 EXPANSION, CCWD CIP# 15034. The project will increase
the sewer treatment capacity to 0.50 mgd and includes construction of a
new headworks (parshall flume, influent lift station, and solids screen),
800 feet of pipeline, nine (9) new 15-hp surface aerators, a masonry block
building, new electrical equipment (motor control center, programmable
logic controller, automatic transfer switch, data radio, and
instrumentation) and general electrical work.
The Engineer’s Estimate is $1.4 to $1.6 Million. Plans and
Specifications will be available after June 2 and may be reviewed at the
offices of CCWD, 423 E. St. Charles Street, San Andreas, CA. Bid sets

COPPEROPOLIS MAIN STREET WATER LINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT, CCWD CIP# 11066S.
The project consists of furnishing and installing approximately 850 feet
of 12-inch water line in Main Street between the Post Office and the
Copperopolis Elementary School, make pavement repairs, complete tie-ins to
the existing water system, and furnish and install several water services
and fire hydrants. It is a priority to complete work while the elementary
school is on summer break ending August 21, 2008. Plans and
