Calaveras County Water District Earns Transparency Certificate of Excellence

Calaveras County Water District (CCWD) is pleased to announce that it has been awarded the District Transparency Certificate of Excellence by the Special District Leadership Foundation (SDLF).
This recognition highlights CCWD’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and good governance in service to the community.

- Filing timely Financial Transactions and Compensation Reports with the State Controller.

- Maintaining a comprehensive and accessible district website with required documents and information.
- Implementing policies regarding conflict of interest, ethics and conduct, financial reserves, and records retention.
- Engaging in best practices and public outreach efforts.
By successfully meeting these standards, CCWD has earned a three-year certification, reaffirming its commitment to transparency and responsible governance.
