Flow Testing in the Ebbetts Pass Service Area

Yellow fire hydrant, Calaveras County Water District logo, text: "Water flow Testing October 8th & 9th."

October 8th & 9th, 2025

Crews will be performing water flow testing along the scenic Highway 4 corridor, from the top of Utica Grade to the Meko Mile in Camp Connell. This testing is part of our ongoing effort to collect data for our hydraulic model, helping ensure reliable water service for our community.

Possible Impacts During Testing:
• Intermittent water pressure fluctuations in homes and businesses
• Temporary discoloration of water (brown or cloudy), which is safe but may occur when water flow changes
• Brief interruptions of service in some areas while testing is underway

We appreciate your patience and understanding as our crews work to maintain and improve your water service along this beautiful route. We’re proud that the Ebbetts Pass Water System delivers water sourced from the pristine Stanislaus River, a resource we are committed to protecting and fortunate to have as such an incredible source of water for our community.
