The Reach 3A Pipeline Replacement Project in Arnold is nearing completion. One 500-foot section of old pipeline remains between Oak Court and Pine Drive near the Black Bear Inn. During the final phase of construction, heavy equipment and construction activities will cause traffic delays and create noise in the area between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Once new pipeline has been installed in the final section, construction crews will begin clean-up work and final paving. The current estimate is that all project work will be complete by mid September.

Construction Update

August 16-18

Crews will test the section of pipeline that were recently installed through the Cedar Center parking lot and along part of Oak Court. On Friday August 18, crews plan to tie in the new section of pipeline and bring it into service.

August 21-25

Crews will begin work on the final section of pipeline replacement, which is between Oak Court and Pine Drive.

August 28-31

Crews will complete the installation of new pipeline between Oak Court and Pine Drive, and testing will begin.

September 4-8

Crews will continue testing the section of pipeline between Oak Court and Pine Drive, and the new section will be tied into the main system and put into operation.

September 11-15

Crews will begin final paving throughout the project area and perform general clean-up operations. Once these tasks are complete, the project will conclude.

Project summary

As of August 16, T&S Construction had replaced about about 19,500 feet of pipeline, and the project is more than 95 percent complete. The remaining portions of pipeline that need to be replaced are from Oak Court to Pine Drive at the north end of the abandoned Meadowmont Golf Course. Substantial completion of the project is expected by the middle of September 2017.
