Russ Thomas Appointed to CCWD BoardJanuary 11, 2017

On Wednesday January 11, the CCWD Board of Directors voted 3-0-1 to appoint Russ Thomas as the Division 4 Director. Division four covers the areas along Highway 4 from Copperopolis to Douglas Flat.

Thomas will serve the two years remaining in former CCWD Director Dennis Mills’ term. Mills was elected as Calaveras County Supervisor for District 4 and resigned from the CCWD Board in early January.

CCWD District 1 Director Scott Ratterman was unable to vote on the appointment because he was not feeling well and could not attend the meeting.
