The West Point Community is currently experiencing color and odor in the water supply.
The Water can have a brownish hue and/or an earthy, musty smell. The district is aware of the issue. While unpalatable, the water is still safe to use as you see fit. All water quality tests are acceptable. CCWD has changed the raw water source that feeds the water treatment plant and crews continue to flush the system to eliminate the color and odor. The district anticipates this work will resolve the issue very soon. CCWD appreciates your patience and understanding.
