Wallace Water Storage Tank  Project

The image shows a large white tank, some black tanks nearby, gravel on the ground, and trees in a sunny outdoor setting.

The Why

The Wallace Water Storage Tank is in poor condition and has reached the end of its useful life. The tank exhibits extensive corrosion on the roof and observable foundation distress associated with expansive soils in the area. These conditions present increasing risks to system reliability, water quality, and long-term structural performance.

The project will replace the existing Wallace tank with a single new glass-lined steel tank constructed on a reinforced concrete slab foundation. This configuration provides a durable, corrosion-resistant facility designed to current standards and will significantly improve long-term reliability and ease of maintenance.
